Been going here since I was a teenager, when we were the few islanders in kingsgrove. 16 years on and still the best fish in chips in Australia. Owner and his team are always so pleasant, even new staff are always pleasant to deal with. Proof that good customer service goes a long way. I always recommend them to all my family and friends. Keep on being great, thank you for the quality food over the years.

Came in for lunch and got the seafood snack pack and potato scallops. The batter on the potato scallops, seafood scallops and fish cocktails was very nice. Light, airy and crispy. The seafood scallops were very fresh and succulent and so was the fish. The shop had a great selection of of seafood both battered, crumbed and fresh. There were also many different salads and other accompaniments. Pricing was very affordable especially for the quality. Customer service was fantastic. Ordering from one end and paying at the counter. All the items were perfectly seasoned. Theres a row of seats along the side of the shop if you want to eat there. Parking can be quite a challenge as it is a reasonably busy street, however across the road there is a car park and there’s also the Woolworths carpark.

Had an amazing experience at Kingsgrove Seafood. The fish was perfectly golden and crispy on the outside, yet tender and flaky on the inside. The chips were equally impressive – crisp, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection. But the real surprise? The pineapple fritters. They were an absolute delight – golden, crispy batter surrounding sweet, juicy pineapple. Each bite was a perfect balance of crunchy and refreshing, with a hint of caramelized sweetness. It’s rare to find fritters done this well, and they absolutely stole the show. Friendly service, generous portions, and great value for money. If you’re craving fish and chips with a side of something extraordinary, Kingsgrove Seafood is the place to be. Highly recommend!

Great local fish and chips shop with all the old school classics, done well, affordable, generous servings and everything is fresh and cooked to order. The only negative things was the prawn cutlets, they tasted like rubber and you can buy them frozen from supermarket, considering they are a seafood shop it would of been nicer if they made their own and the crumb on the fish was too thick, it would of been nicer if it was a lighter batter like tempura but that’s just my personal taste. I will definitely go back for the calamari, potato scallops and chips because they were delicious and had the perfect crunch!
